BTS's Jin Wishes Suga A Happy Birthday While Serving In The Military — But In The Most Unexpected Place

Although it has been just over three months since BTS‘s Jin went into the military for his mandatory enlistment, the idol is always on hand to interact with the members on special occasions.

March 9 is a special day for BTS and ARMYs because it’s Suga‘s birthday. As expected, the idol treated fans to an adorable live broadcast where he chatted, played guitar, and showcased his dazzling vocals.

Of course, the use of mobiles while enlisted is strict, and those in the military can only use them after 6 PM. So, it meant that ARMYs were soft AF when Jin posted his birthday message reading, “Yoongi-ah, happy birthday” at 6:26 PM (KST).

Yet, the reason it made netizens LOL was because of the way he wished Suga a happy birthday. The wishes ranged in location from J-Hope‘s birthday tweet…

And RM took to Instagram to wish Suga a happy birthday.

Of course, it was clear that Jin’s wishes for Suga were on Weverse, but rather than its own post, Jin decided to comment under Jungkook’s post after the live broadcast.

During the broadcast, Jimin, J-Hope, and Jungkook all gained attention for sending their marriage proposals to Suga.

After Suga gave a shoutout to Jimin and not the others, even though Jimin was there the longest, Jungkook took matters into his own hands. In a post on Weverse, the idol explained, “Wow, Yoongi hyung didn’t reply [to me on Weverse]. I’m upset, really!”

While Jimin joked that he had a full-blown conversation with Suga, J-Hope seemingly understood his pain, replying, “Kekekeke, me too!”

So, ARMYs were LOL’ing so much because Jin’s message to Suga was randomly placed under Jungkook’s post.

With such limited time, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jin just randomly posted the message to ensure he wished Suga a happy birthday. Others hilariously joked that Jin wanted to bump up Jungkook’s post so that Suga could finally notice him.
