Fans are heavily torn.

BTS‘s Jungkook was allegedly stalked by a fan the same day he held a particularly raw and unfiltered live broadcast to communicate with ARMYs.

While the broadcast of February 26 had the same unfiltered and candid energy of any other usual Jungkook livestream, the idol was surprisingly unabashed while talking about controversial topics, including his smoking “controversy.”

After the broadcast ended, fans were left moved by Jungkook’s raw emotions. However, around the same time, a fan’s personal interaction with the idol on the same day started spreading widely.

The fan, reportedly a Turkish national, shared that she met Jungkook on the street and approached him hesitantly. She claimed that he was happy to greet his fans and even agreed to get clicked. She posted a video of their interaction and was seen apologizing for bothering him, to which he responded with a light pat on her back.

While initially the story received very enthusiastic support from ARMYs, the discourse turned around after some accused the fan of being a stalker. They argued that their interaction clearly happened near Jungkook’s residence, which made the whole meeting problematic.

The person in the video supposedly responded to these accusations through social media. She emphasized that she ran into him coincidentally and that Jungkook was not uncomfortable with being approached.

The incident has now left ARMYs divided, with some supporting the OP (original poster) and others still convinced that this was a case of stalking.
