BTS Jungkook’s “Euphoria” Becomes First Solo Track By South Korean Male Idol To Be Eligible For Gold RIAA Certificate
BTS Jungkook‘s “Euphoria” has become the first solo song by a male K-Pop idol to be eligible for RIAA Gold certification!
On March 26, it was announced that Jungkook’s 2018 track, “Euphoria,” had sold 500,000 units in the U.S, making it eligible for a Gold RIAA certificate! Although BTS has achieved many RIAA Gold certification’s, this is the first time a male K-Pop idol’s solo track has achieved such success in the US!
In order to qualify for an RIAA Gold certification, an artist must sell a minimum of 500,000 units and “Euphoria” has reached that after being released in 2018.
