BTS Jungkook's Mercedes-Benz Sparks Bidding War, Sells For A Jaw-Dropping Price At Auction

Some BTS fans love to buy replicas of Jungkook‘s favorite things, from designer brands to luxury products, but one lucky person has won the ultimate bragging rights.

Back in November, Korean media reported that a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon AMG G63 Edition had been listed on the auction site Blacklot. The vehicle belonged to an unidentified global celebrity, later revealed to be Jungkook.

According to SBS News, Jungkook bought the Benz in 2019, kept it for two years, then sold it to a collector in March. Since then the SUV has been in storage.

The opening bid for Jungkook’s car was reportedly ₩150 million KRW (about $116,000 USD), less than market value, but it sold for much more. Blacklot experienced a sudden influx of foreign bidders after the car’s connection to Jungkook went public, forcing Blacklot to halt the auction temporarily. Even after barring both foreigners and minors from bidding, approximately 80 people participated in the auction.
