MMA And “Physical: 100” Star Choo Sung Hoon Praises BTS Jungkook’s Boxing Skills, Says He Could Be A Professional

Is there anything Jungkook can’t do?

Boxing has been a hobby of BTS maknae Jungkook‘s for quite some time now, and as with most things he tries, the K-Pop idol definitely has a talent for it!

There have been numerous videos posted of Jungkook boxing, some less serious than others…

And earlier this year, he even held a livestream showing himself boxing with his trainer, Tommy.

And now, Jungkook has been praised by an actual MMA champion, Physical: 100 contestant Choo Sung Hoon (also known as Yoshihiro Akiyama or Sexyama)!

The two had met up back in March to practice sparring together, after which they shared a dinner together. Sung Hoon posted about their friendship on his Instagram account, and had nothing but kind things to say about Jungkook.

On the latest episode of Point of Omniscient Interfere (also known as The Manager) on April 15, Sung Hoon talked about his recent sparring match with actor Im Si Wan. During this, he was asked about Jungkook, since he was known to have sparred with him before. And this was what he had to say about the BTS member’s boxing skills!

Jungkook… He’s actually good. I was surprised. I think, if he were to really put his mind to it, he could easily debut as a professional. He’s that good.

And he takes his trainer with him to concerts. He practices before he goes on stage and whatnot. So he’s something else. Jungkook is not playing around.

It seems that the golden maknae of BTS really can accomplish pretty much anything he puts his mind to. Maybe someday we’ll see him in MMA competitions himself!
