BTS‘s Jungkook has a new piercing!

Jungkook is known for having gotten multiple piercings throughout the years, with fans loving one in particular.

For his military service, Jungkook removed all his piercings but after his discharge, many of them returned including his lip ring.

On September 1, his birthday, Jungkook went live on Weverse, where his new piercing was all most instantly noticed.

Just under his lip, near his mole, a new stud could be seen throughout the live, with Jungkook announcing it as well.

Surprisingly, Jungkook also admitted that the piercing has already cause some damage to him.

Jungkook’s piercing is a labret, which goes through the lip entirely with some sort of end on the inner side.

These piercings commonly come with a warning against hitting them against the teeth as they can cause damage.

Jungkook revealed that this has already happened and shared that he broke off part of his tooth. He says that he just ended up swallowing it, though the piercing has been “really annoying” him.

Despite the issue it has caused, fans (and Jungkook) can’t help but praise his visuals with the new piercing.

While that part of his natural tooth is permanently gone, Jungkook can at least get it repaired at the dentist!
