BTS Jungkook’s Solo Song, “My Time”, Breaks Its Own Record As It Resurfaces On Charts
BTS‘s golden maknae, Jungkook has done it yet again, with his solo song from MAP OF THE SOUL : 7, hitting first place this week on iTunes Top Songs charts, in not one, but 9 different countries.
On the 7th of July, “My Time” took first place on the charts in Greece, Fiji, Panama, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, as well as in Ghana, Uganda, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands, proving just how big their popularity is globally.
With this round of domination, the song broke it’s own records of the number of countries it has reached first place in, coming to a cool total of 47 different countries. It previously hit number one on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 38 countries including the United States, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Columbia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Chile, Brazil and other countries.
On the other hand, “My Time” also managed to chart in on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at 84th place, on their Digital Song Sales at 2nd place, as well as their Billboard Korea K-pop 100 on 46th place.
In other news, the members of BTS have recently announced that they will be attending a cyber university for their master’s in 2020.
