The line distribution for BTS‘s new album has incited fury among fans.
On March 20, BTS finally returned with the hotly anticipated album ARIRANG, and the title track “SWIM.”
As with all K-Pop albums, there was a lot of discourse about the line distribution. In particular, across the title track and other songs, netizens noticed that the vocalists in the group didn’t have many lines, and while some were disappointed, others were extremely angry. Jungkook fans shared fury that, despite his success, it seemed like the idol used his time in the studio for something he wasn’t respected for, rather than solo content some wanted.
In particular, netizens hit back at the feeling that the entire album was tailored for the rap line members.
