BTS RM Teased His Solo Album On Instagram, Making ARMYs Wonder If A Previously Speculated Collaboration Is Finally Happening

Dropped a bomb so casually.

BTS leader RM recently posted multiple Instagram stories teasing his solo album.

The rapper uploaded a story celebrating four years of his last solo mixtape Mono and followed it up with a screenshot of a zip folder with its name blurred out and a caption that read, “And next?”

The screenshot showed that the folder contained mastered audio files that were last updated on October 19. In the following story, RM gave a short gist of what to expect from the upcoming album. It will outline his journey from 2019 to 2022, a significant part of his twenties.

To say ARMYs are excited at this news would be an understatement. Though this is not an official announcement, some hawk-eyed fans have already started digging deeper. They found a common string between RM’s story and a post-J-Hope made a while ago with the same text, “What next?” where RM was also tagged. This is making ARMYs speculate on a potential collaboration.

RM might be the one to release his solo album after Jin’s promotions for “The Astronaut” are done. But only time and Big Hit Music can tell what exactly is coming our way.
