BTS Show Their Dark Sides In New “Shadow” Photos For “MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E” Photobook
BTS‘s MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E photobook is the gift that keeps on giving!
BTS’s new photobook features themed concept photo sets from their 2020 MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E on-tact concert.
Each one is inspired by music and motifs from the MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 album.
The newest photo set, “CLUE VER. [SHADOW]” is inspired by Suga‘s solo “Interlude: Shadow”…
… and the concept of the shadow from Jungian psychology. The shadow is the unknown dark side of one’s personality.
These bold concept photos use a striking red and black contrast to bring their “dark sides” to light.
If you haven’t seen them yet, check out the preview cuts for “CLUE VER. [PERSONA],” “ROUTE VER. [EGO],” and “ROUTE VER. [YOUTH].”
