BTS Slammed For “Israel Campaigns” With Brands, Continuing Debate
BTS‘s past and current promotions with brands active on Israel-based accounts have drawn backlash.

Recently, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie faced criticism after Adidas Israel shared photos from one of her campaigns on its account.

In the aftermath of the criticism, BTS’s past and present campaigns were examined, with photos of RM being featured on Samsung Israel’s page in 2025 surfacing. Similar criticism followed over this,

The Netflix Israel account also recently posted about the group’s upcoming comeback show that will be streamed on the platform, which was also brought up.

However, as with Jennie’s alleged campaign, fans have pointed out that promotional items are shared across every region where the company operates, as campaigns with other idols have been. Samsung and Netflix both operate globally, so these instances cannot be considered strictly “Israel campaigns,” but it is worth pointing out that the companies have both been hit with boycotts for operating in the region.
