After 6 Long Years, BTS Is Finally Set To Release A Studio Version of Suga and Jimin’s “Tony Montana”
BTS ARMY rejoice! We’re finally getting a studio version of Agust D‘s “Tony Montana” featuring Jimin!
In August 2016, Suga released his first mixtape as Agust D. The tracklist included the song “Tony Montana,” and the studio version of the song featured Yankie.
During BTS’s 3rd Muster, Jimin joined Suga for a special performance of “Tony Montana,” and he stunned fans with his rapping skills.
Ever since that performance, ARMY has been hoping that the studio version of this “Tony Montana” performance would be released someday.
Finally, after roughly 6 years, ARMY’s wish has come true! The version of “Tony Montana” that featured Jimin will be included on the 3rd CD of BTS’s PROOF album.
The third CD included in the PROOF anthology album contains many demos of beloved BTS songs like “Jump,” “Boy in Luv,” “I Need U,” “Boyz with Fun,” “Young Forever,” “Spring Day,” “DNA,” “Epiphany,” and “Seesaw.” While ARMY has heard snippets of a few of these demos before, fans are definitely looking forward to hearing the full versions, as well as a studio version of Suga and Jimin’s “Tony Montana” collab.
