BTS’s V Wants to Give His Personal Copy Of “Layover” To A Special Someone

ARMYs came up with multiple scenarios about the revelation.

On August 11, KST, BTS‘s V dropped the music video for “Rainy Days,” the second single from his upcoming solo album Layover. Later, the singer also did a surprise live broadcast on Weverse, talking about the album with fans.

During the live, V excitedly showed a physical copy of his album, which fans wouldn’t get their hands on until at least September 8. He told fans that he was the first person to receive the physical album, but he has a special someone in mind who he wants to gift it to.

Though there is no doubt that the BTS member worked his hardest to prepare a well-curated record for fans, he revealed that there is someone else who outdid his efforts, and it’s none other than his pet dog, Yeontan. From the album jacket to the concept photos, and even in the “Rainy Day” music video, Yeontan is not just present but shares the spotlight with V equally. In fact, both ARMYs and V himself are calling this album Yeontan’s debut.

So, to honor his hard work, V said that he wants to give the first copy of his album to Yeontan though he might not even know what to do with it.

While ARMYs found this detail endearing, they also couldn’t help coming up with wild scenarios of how Yeontan might react once he receives the album from V.

Meanwhile, Layover is slated to be released on September 8, 1 pm KST. You can watch the music video for “Rainy Days” here:
