BTS’s V Proves His Global Influence By Making The Most Unexpected Item Sell Out — From A Single Instagram Post

When it comes to idols with global influence, none can compare to the members of BTS. Over the years, they have showcased their popularity with fans worldwide. In particular, they have the nickname “Sold Out Kings” for their ability to make products sell out by just using them.

One member who recently gained attention for making the most unexpected member sellout is none other than BTS’s V.

On December 16 (KST), V updated his Instagram stories by sharing some photos of the things he’s been doing, including going out in the show, what he’s been eating, and much more.

In particular, one of the images that caught the attention of ARMYs was a picture of the idol holding what seemed like a luxury bottle of water.

The brand seemed fancy, and it was right to think that V only uses the best as it seems to be a product from Barneys New York Beauty. It was confirmed when the Korean Instagram page for the brand shared two photos of V’s story, thanking the idol for sharing their brand.

According to the description, the water is not only high-quality, but it even won an award at the Taste and Design Awards in 2022.

One ARMY noticed that, along with the company sharing V’s posts and thanking the idol, the water had actually sold out shortly after the initial Instagram stories were shared by the idol. According to the website, it isn’t cheap either and retails for ₩48,000 KRW (about $36.40 USD).

When the tweet was shared, ARMYs couldn’t get over the fact that V managed to even sell out something as domestically available as water.

As always, BTS’s V proves his influence by making the most unexpected item sell out. Although water is available pretty much everywhere, ARMYs wanted the same bottle as V.
