The members answered questions sent in by reporters around the world and revealed how they felt after finding out about their No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. While answering questions, V revealed an episode that occurred pre-debut when he came up to Seoul from Daegu to pursue his dream of becoming a singer.

I took a taxi with my dad and we ended up being scammed by the taxi driver. We didn’t know that we would have to go through three tunnels.

This was a prime example of how people get scammed when they are in a city that they are not familiar with. The route from the bus terminal to Big Hit Entertainment’s building should have only taken about 20 minutes.

They were scammed because both V and his father did not know the streets of Seoul well. Although it was annoying in that moment, they were able to look back on this as a fun memory.

V commented, “Now this episode has become a fun memory.”

In regards to receiving the No.1 on the Billboard chart, V stated, “It feels like I’ve received the best award. I hope that everyone can be happy and have no worries today.”
