If you want BTS‘s Jin to be your brand model, you’d better read the fine print!
On May 14, Lotte Chilsung announced a 1-year contract with BTS as brand models to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Chilsung Cider.
Whenever BTS officially endorses a brand, they make an effort to include the brand’s items in their videos, photos…
…and/or wardrobes. Like the rest of his members, Jin faithfully carries out each contract, but he does it his own way.
On May 14, a fan posted BTS’s Chilsung Cider ad on Weverse. In the caption, they wrote, “Bangtan oppas were already refreshing, but now they’re even more refreshing with Chilsung Cider. Just seeing them refreshes me.”
This was the perfect opportunity to promote Chilsung Cider, and Jin took it! “I’m not lying, it’s really delicious. Truly,” he wrote, then added. “(I’ve fulfilled the contract condition of promoting its deliciousness naturally.)”
Is ARMY surprised? Not at all. Are they suddenly craving Chilsung Cider? Definitely!
