Byeon Woo Seok: “I’m Worried About Not Meeting Expectations…”
Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Korea revealed the March issue cover featuring a unique side of Byeon Woo Seok ahead of his upcoming projects Perfect Crown and Solo Leveling.
In the released photo shoot, Byeon Woo Seok draws attention with a variety of attitudes ranging from soft to charismatic. Especially striking is the concept and style that delicately highlight his facets against the exotic scenery and spaces of Milan.

In a subsequent interview, he shared his thoughts on the photo shoot set in Milan, Italy: “The shoot truly captured the atmosphere of the city itself. Outdoor scenes on the streets conveyed the city’s unique rhythm and energy, and the space with a large plant in the courtyard left a strong impression. It felt like a perfect match for Prada’s calm yet tense mood.”

He also honestly spoke about the inevitable pressure and concerns ahead of his new projects. Byeon said, “I think the greater the love I receive, the greater the expectations become. I worry about what might happen if I can’t meet those expectations, but at the same time, those worries and fears seem to motivate me to work harder. At times like this, I believe the best thing I can do is give my all and approach the projects with even more pride.”

He revealed his philosophy about his desire to act well: “Since I was young, I’ve had a personality that wants to do things properly. But acting is a bit different. It feels endless. No matter how much you do, reaching the moment where you can say ‘I did well’ is difficult. That’s what makes it more attractive. I still believe effort isn’t everything, but it’s mostly what matters. Reading the script dozens of times, building my own interpretation of the character, researching people in similar situations—I think that time spent in contemplation allows me to feel more at ease in front of the camera.”
