Chaebol Suspected To Be Entangled In Cambodia Crimes Allegedly Involving Seungri
Reports are raising alarms after Hwang Hana, the controversial granddaughter of Namyang Dairy’s founder and former fiancée of singer-actor JYJ‘s Park Yoochun, was spotted living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia — a region currently under scrutiny for serious crimes targeting Koreans.
According to Sunday Sisa, Hwang has been residing in a luxury high-rise apartment in the Cambodian capital after relocating from Thailand, allegedly mingling with wealthy Thai elites. Online communities have since reignited discussions about her whereabouts, noting that she remains on Interpol’s Red Notice list.

The situation comes as the Korean Foreign Ministry issued a special travel advisory, warning of rising kidnapping, torture, and online scam incidents involving Korean nationals. Police also confirmed a surge in drug- and fraud-related crimes connected to organized groups operating within Cambodia.
Amid the growing chaos, attention has also turned to former BIGBANG member Seungri, who was recently seen in a resurfaced video from Cambodia. In the clip, Seungri appears onstage under a “Prince Brewing” logo, which some netizens claim is linked to the Taiza Complex — a hotspot identified by international media as a base for illegal gambling, drug trafficking, and voice phishing syndicates.

Seungri, who completed his prison sentence in 2023, has reportedly been traveling across Southeast Asia, including Cambodia and the Philippines, for “business” engagements. However, his alleged association with the Taiza Complex has reignited intense public criticism, with many questioning his current activities abroad.
As of now, Seungri’s camp has not issued any statement, while South Korean police have officially requested Interpol’s cooperation to track Hwang Hana’s movements amid fears of deeper links between chaebol families and transnational criminal networks.
