Gold Medalist Releases Official Statement Regarding Actor Choi Hyun Wook’s Controversy
Actor Choi Hyun Wook was recently caught on video smoking, and holding hands with a girl. The incriminating video spread like wildfire.
Rather than the fact that he was seen with a girl, many were disappointed in his incorrect disposal of the cigarette. Instead of throwing it in a bin, he simply cast it away on the floor. In response, his agency Gold Medalist released a statement.
Firstly, we are regretful that we are greeting you due to an unsavory incident. Recently, our company’s actor, Choi Hyun Wook, had been conversing with his acquaintances on the streets, when he dealt with the smoked cigarette in a wrong manner. He has recognised his wrongdoings and is reflecting deeply over that, as well as for his careless actions which were uncomfortable to watch. He apologized “sincerely and with an apologetic heart,” to the many who were disappointed. He also said that “in the future, he will work hard to pay more attention to his actions, and to show a more self-respectful side of himself to everyone.” Our company will pay greater attention to managing our artist.

This was not the first time that Choi Hyun Wook was caught enjoying nightlife. He was previously spotted at a club. Witnesses had then claimed that he was seen acting intimately with a woman at the club.
