Beloved TV Star’s Model Daughter Set To Wed 11-Years-Older Boyfriend She Met As A Minor
Choi Jun Hee, a 23-year-old model-influencer and the daughter of the late actress Choi Jin Sil, will marry her longtime boyfriend on May 16 at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, according to THE FACT‘s exclusive report.

Her fiancé is an 11-years-older non-celebrity office worker identified only as Kim. The couple has reportedly dated for about five years, building trust and affection before deciding to spend their lives together.

Their timeline has drawn attention. Born in 2003, Choi Jun Hee would have been around 18 when the relationship began — meaning she was still a minor under Korean law when she started dating her now significantly older partner. Because of her age, the relationship reportedly required the consent of an adult.
She is said to have received permission from key figures in her life, including Hong Jin Kyung—her late mother’s longtime best friend, whom she calls “aunt.” Choi Jun Hee previously shared that she and her older brother, Choi Hwan Hee, each introduced their partners to Hong Jin Kyung and “received her blessing/permission.”

Those close to the couple describe her fiancé as warm and dependable, saying he stood firmly by her side during periods when she struggled with lupus, steroid-related weight gain, and intense public scrutiny as “Choi Jin Sil’s daughter.” Choi Jun Hee never hid the relationship, frequently posting affectionate photos and even joking about their age gap online. Marriage rumors first surfaced in 2022.

The wedding is reportedly being planned with her brother’s full support. Choi Jun Hee has shared that she believes her mother “would have been happier than anyone” to see this day.
