Choi Yena And LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Show Off Their Friendship After A Fateful Meeting In Japan
Choi Yena and LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon have been close friends since they were on the survival reality series Produce 48 together. Both idols finished in the top 12 of the show, allowing them to debut with IZ*ONE. WIZ*ONEs, IZ*ONE’s official fandom, fondly shipped the pair, calling them “SsamYen.”
Although IZ*ONE disbanded in 2021, all members have stayed close to one another, often participating in each other’s activities despite being part of separate groups and companies. Yena and Chaewon are no exception since they have been spotted interacting at award shows and sending heartfelt messages to one another.

Yena recently showed off her precious friendship with Chaewon on her Instagram, sharing a picture of them hanging out in Japan with the message, “The lady I met in Japan.”
At first, it was unclear as to what Yena meant in her caption, but later she sent a message to fans saying that her meeting with Chaewon felt like fate since they didn’t plan on being overseas at the same time, and their hotels were coincidentally near each other as well!

The pair are reportedly starring in an upcoming variety series tentatively titled HyeMiLeeYeChaePa alongside Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, (G)-IDLE’s Miyeon, Leejung Lee, and Patricia Yiombi. Fans look forward to seeing more of their lovely friendship!
