YG Entertainment Icon Publicly Supports G-Dragon Amid Ongoing Drug Investigations
2NE1‘s CL expressed her support for G-Dragon.
On November 16, CL uploaded a story to her Instagram. In her post, the K-Pop icon shared dozens of photos with herself and G-Dragon.
CL’s support follows reports revealing that Incheon Police had conducted a highly publicized drug investigation based on the words of a sex worker. Reports state that police do not have any other evidence besides the testimony of the brothel worker.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon volunteered his hair samples to be tested for drugs after he was implicated in Lee Sun Kyun‘s drug investigation. Incheon Police are currently facing unprecedented backlash from fans after it has been revealed that both Lee Sun Kyun and G-Dragon have tested negative for drugs.
There has been much speculation regarding the circumstances that led to the police publicizing the investigation, as it is rare for the police to reveal the identities of suspects, and even rarer for the police to parade the investigation around to the media as they have done.
