Recently, an idol shared an episode from his trainee days, garnering attention online.

During a live broadcast, CLOSE YOUR EYES member Minwook revealed how he was punished by his agency for not exercising enough.

I had to write an apology letter during my trainee days, when I was 21. They put me in a room and told me I couldn’t come out until I had finished writing the letter. Back then, I thought, ‘I’m 21 years old. I’m not a middle-schooler. What did I do that was so wrong?’ What happened was, I was supposed to exercise for one hour, but when they checked the time, they thought I had done too little. They said a 21-year-old man should be exercising more than this.

I thought to myself, ‘I’m 21 years old. Just because I exercised too little, is it something to be scolded for?’ I mean, they can scold me and say I need to exercise more to build my physical strength. But they told me to write an apology letter and that I couldn’t come out until I had finished it. I didn’t even know what to write about, so I wrote it as long as I could and ended it with an ‘I’m sorry.’

Fans were frustrated that they were scolding grown men for such ridiculous things.

He also made sure to reiterate that this was unrelated to his current company.
