CNBLUE announces band comeback this September

They’re coming back! It was recently reported that popular male band CNBLUE will be making a comeback next month with a brand new album.

On August 24th, multiple music industry officials commented, “CNBLUE will come back in September with a new album. They are currently undergoing last minute work on the album and have decided to use Jung Yonghwa’s self-written track as the title song. It has a tasteful hint of disco with a bit of rock.”

This will be the first new album from CNBLUE since Can’t Stop in February 2014, a year and seven months ago. Since then, they have focused on overseas group activities and individuals activities, such as Yonghwa making his solo debut with One Fine Day.

Jonghyun has been busy with his drama activities, appearing on KBS2‘s Orange Marmalade, and variety shows KBS2’s Exciting India and MBC‘s We Got Married. Jongshin has appeared on KBS2 drama Thank You, My Son, while Minhyuk made an appearance on MBC’s I Live Alone and KBS’s Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education.

In related news, Jonghyun is reportedly leaving We Got Married after only five months.
