While many had assumed he was on the taller side, the confirmation sparked plenty of reactions, with people pointing out how much he towers over the rest of the group. Some even joked that he looks like a “giant baby” next to his fellow members, most of whom are in the mid-170 cm range.

- “That’s huge. He’s eighteen, right? He’ll probably grow even more.”
- “Do I read that as six-point-three feet?”
- “192 cm? Whoa.”
- “Yeah, he really does look over 190. The other members seem to be in the mid-170s, and seeing the height difference, it’s obvious lol. He’s seriously a giant baby.”
- “For real, literally a giant baby.”
- “He’s taller than I thought.”
Martin, who is Korean-Canadian, isn’t just known for his height. He’s already credited with writing and producing songs for massive groups like TXT, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT before CORTIS’s debut. With over 300 demos considered for their first release, the group’s creative input has been a key talking point since their launch.

CORTIS debuted on August 18, 2025 under BigHit Music with their first mini-album Colour Outside The Lines. Marketed as a “young creator crew,” the five members —Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho — are actively involved in writing, producing, and choreographing their own work. Their pre-release single “GO!” dropped a week before debut, followed by the title track “What You Want,” which even received an English version featuring Teezo Touchdown.
