Cosmic Girls’ Dawon Activities Are Suspended After Being Diagnosed With Anxiety Disorder
Dawon, a member of the girl group Cosmic Girls, has temporarily suspended her activities.
Starship Entertainment released a statement through their official fan café which read “Cosmic Girls member Dawn recently complained of anxiety. She went to the hospital for an accurate diagnosis and underwent a thorough examination and treatment. As a result of the examination, she was diagnosed with an ‘anxiety disorder’, which caused her activities to be temporarily suspended.”

We would like to inform you about the official position of Dawon, our artist from Cosmic Girls.
Cosmic Girls member Dawon recently complained of anxiety. She went to the hospital for an accurate diagnosis and underwent a thorough examination and treatment. As a result of the examination, she was diagnosed with an ‘anxiety disorder’, which caused her activities to be temporarily suspended.
Dawon plans to take rest and concentrate on treatment and recovery. For the time being, Cosmic Girls will be active as 9-members.
We promise to care for our artists without hesitation and support Dawon’s health and recovery. We will keep you informed about her future schedule and situations.
