Diplo Gets Grilled Over His “Disgusting” Social Media Post Featuring BTS
American producer and DJ Diplo has received scathing backlash on social media over his latest post featuring BTS.
Diplo, who has worked extensively with the boy group for their latest release, ARIRANG, recently made a post on X (formerly Twitter) including all seven members of BTS in it. In the caption, he talked about his regret of not taking any photos with the members while working with them in the studio, and also thanked ARMYs for their support. The post featured an AI-generated video of Diplo posing with all seven members one after another.

The video immediately sparked a heated backlash from ARMYs. Many called out the producer for feeding BTS’s faces into AI programs for such a frivolous purpose.

Some also dragged BTS’s album into the narrative, stating that the video implied that Diplo used AI to produce some of the record as well.
