Eagle-Eyed ARMYs Impress BTS’s Jungkook After He’s Spotted At “Coachella 2023”

Jungkook confirmed he attended in a message to ARMYs.

BTS‘s Jungkook was spotted on April 8 at Incheon Airport before his flight to a personal overseas schedule.

At the time, it was reported by Korean media sources that the BTS maknae was flying to attend a brand event, leaving many speculating about which event he would be attending.

Dressed head to toe in Calvin Klein, the brand for which he was recently named a global ambassador, many hoped he would attend an event for the fashion brand. Many details of his trip are still a mystery, but some puzzle pieces have started to come together.

The biggest news came via Instagram updates from HYBE Corporation, BIGHIT MUSIC founder Bang Si Hyuk, and HYBE America‘s CEO Scooter Braun. Their separate Instagram posts showed Jungkook in the studio with top record producers Andrew Watt and CIRKUT, and Braun’s post also tagged American singer Jon Bellion.

It was recently revealed that Andrew Watts is co-producing Justin Bieber‘s new album. The Canadian singer also recently posted photos from the same studio Jungkook had visited, and signs began to point toward a collaboration.

Jungkook was also in California for Coachella‘s first weekend, which many hoped wasn’t coincidental.

Bieber was spotted in the crowd during day one of Coachella. Some speculated that he would join Australian rapper The Kid LAROI, who performed during day two and is also managed by Scooter Braun, to perform their hit song “STAY” together.

With Braun promising that fans watching The Kid LAROI’s set would be “shocked,” many began to wonder if Jungkook would also potentially be joining him on stage.

Fans finally got their answer when The Kid LAROI was performing his set. Instead of appearing onstage, eagle-eyed ARMYs spotted BTS’s Jungkook on the Coachella 2023 live stream.

Shortly after, Jungkook took to Weverse to confirm his attendance and share a message with ARMYs.

Jungkook revealed that he intended to quietly watch The Kid LAROI’s performance but was discovered anyway. He shared his amazement that ARMYs could spot him, even with a new hairstyle.

Aw, I was going to keep it down low at Coachella, but everyone found out so quickly… ARMYs, you are all incredible… Thank you… and I love you… How did you even recognize me? I just cut my bangs, too… (I took this pic in a rush so I could show ARMYs, I want you to know.) (This all makes me feel very much like a celebrity. What a good feeling.) Heh…
