Netizens are highly anticipating the release of Bang Yedam’s new mini-album as his talents have been a point of intrigue for over a decade after he proved his natural abilities on the singing competition show K-Pop Star 2 in 2012 and 2013.

At only ten years old, the talented young singer-songwriter left a lasting impression on viewers and finished the show as a runner-up to AKMU‘s Lee Chanhyuk and Suhyun.

Fellow K-Pop idols have shown their support for Bang Yedam’s exciting new chapter as a solo artist.

His former fellow K-Pop Star 2 competitors, AKMU’s Suhyun and Chanhyuk, recently hosted Bang Yedam on their show The Seasons, sharing stories about their decade-long friendship. During his episode, Bang Yedam revealed just how well Chanhyuk has taken care of him over the years.

Recently, Bang Yedam’s friend and former SOPA (School of Performing Arts Seoul) classmate, Stray Kids I.N, was also spotted supporting the talented singer’s solo debut under his new label.

In the latest SKZ TALKER vlog, maknae I.N was spotted in the background, captivated by something on his phone.

Netizens quickly identified that he was listening to Bang Yedam’s recently released song, “Miss You.”

Netizens loved the indirect show of support for his former classmate, which was even more meaningful for many because I.N had also sent a message of support for Bang Yedam’s 2020 solo song “WAYO.”
