ENHYPEN Faces Serious Security Breaches, BELIFT LAB Initiates Legal Action

BELIFT Lab (BELIFT hereon), the HYBE subsidiary that manages the boy group ENHYPEN, has released a scathing statement calling out stalkers and announcing strict action against them.

On March 5, KST, BELIFT published a notification on Weverse detailing the privacy violations ENHYPEN has faced recently. These include stalkers bribing delivery workers to film the members and illegally purchasing the group’s flight information.
We have recently witnessed serious illegal stalking incidents involving individuals who have bribed delivery workers or drivers to trespass into our artists’ residences, photographing them and selling the photographs. In response, we have initiated criminal proceedings based on the evidence obtained, including security camera footage.
Furthermore, we continue to experience frequent privacy infringements and stalking behaviors, such as using illegally purchased information to board the same flights as our artists, as well as persistently and repeatedly taking unauthorized photographs of the artists in private spaces. We would like to make clear that these actions cause serious harm to our artists and constitute stalking behaviors that explicitly violate our artists’ consent.

BELIFT made it clear that they have been collecting evidence to identify such stalkers and are actively filing complaints with relevant authorities to bring them to justice.
In addition, the group has also been targeted by organized online chatrooms that disseminated false rumors or leaked private details of the members. This has resulted in the members receiving phone calls and obscene messages from strangers and getting stalked during private schedules. BELIFT is taking legal action against these perpetrators as well.
We are currently gathering evidence for such cases and other illegal activities listed below, and are taking strong legal action:
- Continuously making phone calls including sending obscene messages to artists’ mobile phones
- Following artists in their private lives
- Illegally obtaining and selling artists’ personal information and videos
- Other actions that violate artists’ privacy

Finally, the notice addressed fans, urging them to maintain order and safety at airports when ENHYPEN travels. The agency asked fans to refrain from attempting excessive physical contact with the members, taking indiscriminate pictures in prohibited areas, and interfering with the necessary procedures at the airport.
ENHYPEN’s safety has long been a topic of concern for many fans, as they have been growingly getting mobbed at airports and having their privacy breached by sasaeng stalkers in recent years. Read more about the latest incident here:
