Double Million Seller Artists Acknowledges That His Group Remains Unknown

Fans are in disbelief.

A member of a double million-selling group is drawing attention after candidly admitting that he believes his team is still relatively unknown in Korea. During a recent livestream, ENHYPEN’s leader Jungwon responded to a fan who suggested it would be nice to see the group perform at a university festival.

At first, Jungwon repeated the comment thoughtfully. Then, after a brief pause, he said admitted that the local university students don’t know the group.

It’d be nice if enhypen came to a university festival? But university students don’t even know us, how would we go… In korea people don’t really know us well, you know… If we went and they were like “ENHYPEN” it’d suddenly get awkward. I don’t think we’d ever get to go…

Jungwon’s remarks quickly spread across social media, with fans expressing disbelief. Many blame the company.

Fans believe that their company has failed to promote them properly domestically, often focusing on world tours.

ENHYPEN is widely recognized as a double million-selling act with strong global performance metrics, sold-out tours, and consistent album sales milestones. Despite this, it seems like he believes the group lacks public popularity and recognition. More often than not, the group is named by netizens as one that reaps fame and success outside of Korea more so than locally. Despite his concerns, ENHYPEN’s domestic popularity has been growing with each comeback.
