ENGENEs were shocked by the ticket prices, which were higher than ever. They pointed out that the highest-priced ticket would actually be General Admission. So, even if you paid that much, you’d have to camp out to some extent if you want a good spot.

ENGENEs also came to realize that the VIP tickets are not just GA. They also don’t include many benefits. There will be crowd-free merchandise shopping, soundcheck, and VIP merchandise, but no sendoff. Some fans are so disappointed by the lack of benefits for the high price that they’re reselling their tickets already.

This year’s unbelievable prices are due to dynamic pricing, which HYBE previously stated all its groups would join. Dynamic pricing is when companies allow ticket vendors, such as Ticketmaster, to increase the prices of tickets depending on demand. Unfortunately, boycotts are the only resolution to stop companies from partaking in this corrupt practice.

We currently do apply dynamic pricing to the US market for performances by Suga and TXT. If any of our other artists do perform in the US, the same dynamic pricing will apply. Basically, to be able to apply this scheme, you have to have sell-out ticketing power and we think that all of our artists have that. It could apply to them if they are performing in the US.
