Haru, the daughter of Epik High‘s Tablo, who is preparing for college in the U.S., has drawn attention with what she worked on.
On the 2nd, a video titled “Asking 24-year-veteran Epik High about the secret to their long run” was posted on the YouTube channel BDNS.
In the video, Moon Sang Hoon invited the group Epik High to have a variety of conversations. Moon Sang Hoon mentioned, “Tablo hyung translated a film that was released yesterday,” referring to Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie (hereafter Nirvana the Band.)
The Canadian comedy film Nirvana the Band, which was released on the 20th of last month, is known to have been imported by Moon Sang Hoon, with Tablo and his daughter Haru involved in the translation.
Tablo said, “Haru also enjoys film translation. Before I asked her for help, she was the one who showed interest first.”
Since watching films is one of Haru’s hobbies, she naturally became interested by seeing her dad watching movies.
Thus, Tablo shared, “While watching the film, I asked Haru, ‘How would you translate this part properly?’ She then said she could help,” explaining how Haru got involved in the translation.
The father and daughter divided the parts and started translating, working separately in their own rooms on their respective parts before combining them later.
Tablo also emphasized again, “But Haru really enjoyed it.”
Earlier, on his YouTube channel, Tablo revealed surprising news about his daughter, saying, “Haru is taking AP exams and preparing for the SAT. You won’t believe it, but Haru has grown that much.”
AP and SAT are tests taken for college credit and university admissions in the U.S., drawing attention to whether Haru might follow in her father’s footsteps and gain admission to an American university.
Tablo married actress Kang Hye Jung in 2009, and their daughter Haru was born in 2010. The father and daughter previously appeared on KBS 2TV’s The Return of Superman, where they received much love.
