In September 2024, it was reported that the couple’s wedding, originally scheduled to be held that month, was postponed. At the time, Yang’s agency, Mystic Story, stated, “The new wedding date has not been decided,” though clarifying, “There is no change in the status of their relationship.”

As for the investigation, the case remains currently suspended at Bucheon Wonmi Police due to delays in receiving expert consultation results from the Korean Medical Association.
