EXO-CBX’s New Statement Backfires And Triggers Extreme Criticism
EXO-CBX’s latest statement has sparked massive backlash. Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin continue to face scathing reactions from Korean netizens.
On October 29, the trio’s agency INB100 released a detailed explanation addressing the delay in EXO’s full-group comeback, but netizens were far from convinced.

In the statement, INB100 apologized to fans and outlined a detailed timeline of talks with SM Entertainment, claiming that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin met with the company on July 9, 2025, to discuss EXO’s future group activities. INB100 added that the members cleared their December schedules to prioritize EXO but were unexpectedly met with announcements of a fan meeting and a new album planned without their participation.
EXO-CBX Claims To Have Been Blindsided By Their Ousting From The Group
Despite the group’s attempt to clarify their stance, Korean netizens reacted harshly, accusing EXO-CBX of hypocrisy and using the group’s name to manipulate public sympathy.

- “Don’t be ridiculous. If they truly wanted a full-group comeback, they should’ve ended this mess the first time. Do they think fans are stupid? Just quit EXO already. I don’t even want to see them.”
- “When idols are spoiled and overly praised by fans since they’re young, of course some of them lose all sense of reality and self-awareness. The reason they’ve turned out like this is because of those few delusional fans who keep defending them and making excuses for everything they do.”
- “Effort? You call leaving first an effort? LOL.”
- “What kind of person who genuinely cares about the group uses ‘full-group promotions’ as leverage to threaten the company? LOL.”
- “Do they think people are idiots?”
