EXO’s Kai Almost Became Friends With A Total Stranger But This One Thing Stopped Him
EXO‘s Kai recently appeared on Park Myung Soo‘s YouTube show. He admitted that he was a huge fan of buying and selling on second-hand goods apps!
Kai even does the meetups in person by himself! One of the more memorable deals he remembers is when he almost became friends with a seller. He had gone to meet the seller for a pair of sneakers. Kai dressed up and went for the deal. The seller had been so impressed with Kai’s style, that he tried to become friends with him, all while not knowing Kai’s identity.
Kai hilariously shared that he was unable to become friends with the seller in the end as he had bargained for a better price. If he had coolly paid up, he would’ve been able to reveal his identity and become friends with the seller. Kai admitted that he could not reveal his identity as a successful idol after he negotiated the deal.
I rode my bike, wore cool clothes, and wore a mask to the meetup. They didn’t know who I was. I bought shoes from them. I got the goods and turned around to go. They seemed to like me. The seller was a guy, but I guess he liked my silhouette or something. Perhaps he recognized a fashionista. So he texted me, and said I was cool and asked where I got my clothes. We actually had a pretty long conversation. It was a bromance that blossomed on a second-hand app. But he kept asking me stuff like what I did for work, how I was able to come out to meet at that hour, to have coffee together. Guess he wanted to be friends, but I’m Kai. Honestly, if I just bought the item, I would’ve become friends with them. But I bargained for the price. So I couldn’t.
