This time, it’s former member Kim Garam who’s at the center of attention.

During the group’s performance of “ANTIFRAGILE,” fans claim the wrong audio track was accidentally played, one that allegedly included Garam’s vocals. According to the viral clip, the mishap happened during the verse now performed by Kazuha, with some insisting they heard Garam’s voice in the background.

The former LE SSERAFIM member was part of the group’s original lineup when they debuted with “FEARLESS” in May 2022. However, just weeks after their debut, she was removed from the group following serious controversy. Garam was accused of school bullying, and although her agency initially defended her, the ongoing backlash led to her departure.

HYBE and Source Music announced in July 2022 that Garam would no longer be part of the group, stating their intent to “protect the members” and allow the group to move forward.

Interestingly, it’s long been rumored among fans that “ANTIFRAGILE” was recorded shortly after “FEARLESS” — before Garam’s departure. This has led many to believe that an unreleased version of the track with her vocals exists.

That theory gained traction with the recent festival clip.

Yet, fans have also pushed back, pointing out that the verse in question includes the line “Don’t forget about my pointe shoes,” which is strongly associated with Kazuha, who trained as a ballerina. Many believe this line would not have been part of the original if Garam had sung it, suggesting the clip may have been altered or misinterpreted. Some fans even speculate the voice could be generated using AI.

While the viral video has sparked intense debate, there is no official confirmation that Garam’s vocals were played during the show. The possibility remains that it was a technical error, a misheard moment, or a manipulated clip.
