Fans Can’t Decide Which Is The Best Styling Era Of LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura

She has lived so many lives!

Though LE SSERAFIM is a rookie K-Pop group less than a year into their debut, member Sakura is definitely no noob to the job. In fact, she probably has one of the longest-running careers among the idols in the industry and the most versatile one too!

Before debuting with LE SSERAFIM, Sakura had already debuted twice. She kicked off her idol career in Japan when she was just 12 years old. As a member of the Japanese girl group HKT48, Sakura Miyawaki became a household name in her home country before venturing into K-Pop.

Sakura then appeared on the Korean survival show Produce48 and joined the final lineup of IZ*ONE. With this re-debut, she gained more popularity in South Korea, cementing her position as an idol. When the group disbanded in 2021, she joined HYBE Labels and graduated from HKT48. Eventually, she made her third debut with LE SSERAFIM in 2022.

With a career spanning over ten years, Sakura has been through several stages of evolution as an idol. And with each group switch, her image and, consequently, her styling has changed a lot too. So, when a Korean netizen asked which era of Sakura’s styling is the best, fans were torn.

HKT48

In HKT48, Sakura had a pretty innocent and pure image. Her makeup and outfits carried the same essence of a feminine young teenager.

During the show, Sakura’s styling reflected more Korean fashion and makeup choices. But her vibe still contained youthfulness.

IZ*ONE

IZ*ONE had a more mature yet soft feminine concept. So, Sakura’s styling and visuals followed the same direction. Her long pink hair became a talking point during this time.

LE SSERAFIM

LE SSERAFIM was a drastic image change for Sakura. The group’s concept is more grungy and mature than her previous groups, and her looks went through a total switch-up to exude that desired level of boldness. In her current styling, edgy fashion, sharp makeup, and an emphasis on highlighting physical fitness seem to be the key points.

Though fans were divided among the options, there seemed to be more weightage towards the IZ*ONE era and LE SSEAFIM era in the comments.
