Fans Plan Boycott For Idol’s Removal Before He Even Has Debuted

Last year, the survival show BOYS 2 Planet showed the process of creating the new idol group ALPHA DRIVE ONE.

As in the previous season, many popular trainees built their own followings that expressed a desire for their eventual debut. Besides the official spin-off group formed through Planet C: Race Home, another group made up of trainees who did not make the final group was recently announced.

On January 15, IST Entertainment announced the debut of a new boy group, TUNEXX.

Park Donggyu, Kim Sihwan, Arctic, and Kim Inhu are the trainees included in the line-up, which has been a topic of discussion since its announcement due to allegations facing one of the members.

Kim Sihwan was previously the subject of multiple allegations of sexual harassment and other inappropriate behavior, including allegedly taking photos of another boy’s genitals.

IST Entertainment released a statement last year over the allegations, claiming that some information spread was incorrect, and that Sihwan was “deeply reflecting on his immature behavior during his middle and high school years.”

These allegations, and the response, have left many fans of the other members of the group angered by his inclusion.
