On January 27, Fantagio released another statement regarding the tax evasion controversy involving ASTRO Cha Eunwoo.

They apologized for the inconvenience caused to many people by recent developments involving the company and Cha Eunwoo.

“Hello, this is Fantagio. We sincerely apologize for any concern caused by recent developments regarding our artist, Cha Eunwoo.

We feel a heavy sense of responsibility for the controversy stemming from matters involving our company and our artist. The allegations are currently being verified in accordance with the tax authorities’ procedures. Both the agency and artist are cooperating with the investigation within the scope of their respective obligations. Once the legal and administrative decisions become clear, we will responsibly implement the necessary measures based on the findings.

However, we’d like to ask you to refrain from making indiscriminate speculation, spreading unconfirmed information, and over-interpreting allegations.
