First Royal K-Pop Idol? 11-Year-Old Princess Is Speculated To Join The Industry Soon

She is already a star in her home country.

According to a recent broadcast feature by YTN, K-Pop could soon see a royalty debut as an idol.

Jenna Norodom is the second daughter of Princess Norodom Bupphary and the granddaughter of the current King of Cambodia, Norodom Sihamoni. At just age 11, she is already a social media sensation, with over 800,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Jenna began her career in the entertainment industry at the tender age of 6 as an actor, singer, and performer. She apparently has had a knack for performing arts ever since she was a child, and under the management of Space Creative Marketing, she quickly gained attention as a rare royal member active in the creative world. She already holds the status of a young pop star in Cambodia, has appeared in dramas, and has several brand endorsements to her name.

Jenna has a special interest in Hallyu, being an avid fan of groups like BTS and BLACKPINK, as well as a K-Drama fan. She often posts dance covers of K-Pop songs on her YouTube channel and performs at events as well. Jenna has also released multiple original songs, including a duet with Khmer idol BOBO, titled “You Da One.”

Outside of performing arts, Jenna also boasts some impressive language skills. This 11-year-old polyglot reportedly speaks Khmer, French, Thai, Chinese, and English!

In the YTN feature, the princess spoke highly of K-Pop, saying how its bright energy drew her to the music. She has expressed her interest to promote as an artist in Korea, and it looks like her dream is about to come true. Na Yoon Jung, the CEO of a K-Pop entertainment agency, has shown her interest in collaborating with the princess for her career in South Korea.

Jenna currently lives in Cambodia, where she moved with her parents from her birthplace, Paris, France, at the age of 3. She reportedly enjoys a lavish lifestyle of royalty and has access to the best education in the country. But her love for her art at such a young age has pushed Jenna to work tirelessly for her dreams. It will be interesting to see how her journey in K-Pop takes shape in the future!
