Five K-Pop Artists Have Albums In U.S. iTunes Top 1000 Right Now
Just a few days ago, we wrote about four K-Pop artists whose songs were in the U.S. iTunes Top 1000. Today, there are five K-Pop artists with albums in the Top 1000, and ARMYs will be happy to see that three of them are BTS-related!
TWICE‘s Feel Special album is ranked at #206. The group has seen a ton of success with their latest release, with the album’s lead song ranking at #89 on U.S. iTunes a few days ago, they beat their own sales record on the Hanteo Chart, and the music video for “Feel Special” surpassed 50 million views in just three days!
Released on September 25, AKMU‘s Sailing follows closely behind TWICE’s Feel Special at #232.
Unsurprisingly, BTS’s Map Of The Soul: PERSONA made the list, coming in at #477. Its inclusion in the top 1000 is made more impressive when you realize that the album was released back in April.
.
At #918 is J-Hope‘s HOPE WORLD. Despite being on the lower end of the Top 1000 ranking, HOPE WORLD’s ability to rank after being released way back in March speaks volumes of J-Hope’s talent as a songwriter.
Just a few slots behind fellow BTS groupmate J-HOPE is RM‘s Mono. In an ongoing show of love from fans, RM’s Mono, which was released at the end of 2018, managed to come in at #921!
All the artists should be very proud of themselves, but particularly BTS who has shown that good music has enduring strength to continue charting despite not being recent releases.
