Former 3rd-Generation Female Idol Denies Rumors Of Being TWS Dohoon’s Sponsor And A Hostess Manager

An anonymous accusation was made.

Former 3rd generation female idol Somyi, who previously promoted with DIA, has denied rumors of sponsoring TWS‘s Dohoon and being a Tenpro Madam.

A now-deleted post went viral on DC Inside, claiming how Somyi was a Tenpro Madam. “Ten Pro” are exclusive adult establishments that are infamous in Korea for catering to only the richest in Korean society. The name “Tenpro,” which literally means 10% in Korea, was given to these establishments because it is said only the most beautiful 10% of women can work there. The Madam is the manager of the establishment, also known as the hostess.

The post also accused Somyi of providing financial support to TWS’s Dohoon in the past, likening her to his sponsor.

In response, Somyi’s agency MODEN BERRY KOREA has firmly denied such rumors.

All of the Tenpro Madam and TWS Dohoon sponsorship claims made by an anonymous user on the online community DC Inside on May 6 are false and clear examples of defamation towards our artist.

We believe these rumors are a serious issue that not only undermines the reputation of [Somyi] but also the third party being mentioned. We plan on filing a complaint through our legal representative and we will prepare a strong legal response.

Somyi had previously been sentenced to 18 months in prison for falsely accusing her former agency CEO of sexual assault. After appealing the verdict, her sentence was reduced to 2 years probation.

Currently, she is working on producing for MODEN BERRY KOREA’s new boy group, which is slated to debut in 2028.
