Former Big Bang member Seungri is now facing additional charges for violence and gang relations.
On January 14th, Seungri (Lee Seung Hyun) attended his 7th court hearing session in his ongoing Burning Sun trial. Seungri has been attending these trials due to his numerous criminal charges and involvement with the Burning Sun scandal. On this day, the General Military Court’s prosecution officially charged the former Big Bang member with an additional violence and gang relations charge.
The prosecution shared that on December of 2015, Seungri got violent with a customer after they intruded a private room at a club in which Seungri was drinking in. During their physical altercation, more customers got involved which led to Seungri reaching out to former CEO of Yuri Holdings, Yoo in Suk. After he was contacted by Seungri, Yoo In Suk notified some gang members that he had previous relations with. The gang members arrived to the club, where they began to violently threaten the customers.
The prosecution came forward with a statement saying,
Lee Seung Hyun (Seungri) conspired together with Yoo In Suk and used their relations with gang members to threaten the victims with excess force.
