Former TREASURE Mashiho’s Healthy Transformation Leaves Him Nearly Unrecognizable
In 2020, TREASURE debuted as YG Entertainment’s first boy group in several years.
At the time, TREASURE had 12 members, a line-up that lasted until 2022, when Bang Yedam and Mashiho left the group after a period of hiatus. Bang Yedam resumed his solo career under GF Entertainment the following year, releasing his first mini album, Only One.
Mashiho, whose hiatus was announced for health reasons, did not resume entertainment activities until Summer 2024, when he made his solo debut with the release of three singles.
After a few more single releases, Mashiho’s first full album was released in March 2025. The idol is currently active in Japan, with announced plans for a tour for his album later this year.

The idol is also active on social media, including TikTok where he has shared updates about his activities. Recently, a video featuring his song “Tadaima” went viral with over 1.1 million views, showing Mashiho singing along to the track.
Compared to his time in TREASURE, Mashiho appears to have gained some healthy weight and muscle, not appearing as slim as previously.
Many commented on the TikTok, remarking about Mashiho’s healthy transformation and how they did not initially recognize him. Fans also expressed their excitement for his future activities.
