Yet, despite the backlash, idols are finding themselves being criticized if they are seen making comments about the group. In 2025, KARD’s BM became the target of hate after seemingly shading the whole group on social media.

Recently, BLACKSWAN‘s Fatou has come under fire for her comments seemingly shading Tarzzan.

In a video gaining attention online, Fatou was speaking with a netizen about hip hop in K-Pop, and she seemingly started to allude to Tarzzan by referring to things the male idol had been criticized for and a quote he had said.

I am going to put my pants down my ass, oh yeah.

‘Sagging my pants down my ass, oh you jealous?’ Nobody is jealous of that.

— Fatou

When the clip was posted, Fatou was hit with a wave of backlash, with many criticizing her for the number of times she had spoken about other idols, and some even called her hypocritical when it came to whom she did and didn’t criticize.

Yet, many fans defended the idol saying that the idol didn’t specifically say names and she had the right to share her anger.
