Fans Can’t Wait To See More Of (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi And Red Velvet’s Seulgi Together After Their Recent Interaction At The “2022 Genie Music Awards”
(G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi and Red Velvet‘s Seulgi became friends through a unique series of events, and their recent interactions are now making fans want to see much more of this iconic friendship.
It all began earlier this year when Yuqi expressed her interest in becoming friends with Seulgi. She had left her a video message on the Cultwoo Show and then posted about Seulgi’s solo debut album on her Instagram story.
Yuqi became a successful fan after Seulgi saw her story and gave her her number, even making plans with her to meet up for hot pot.
Seulgi even mentioned Yuqi in a recent appearance on Yongjin’s Health Center, where she recounted the story of how they came to meet.
The two new besties were reunited at the 2022 Genie Music Awards (or GMAs), and fans were more than excited to finally see them together.

It was evident that they are already quite comfortable with each other, as Yuqi (who is, admittedly, a total social butterfly) fell easily into conversation with Seulgi as she sat down at her side.
Netizens noted that Seulgi’s members had the cutest smiles on their faces as they observed Seulgi and Yuqi’s interaction, proving that fans aren’t the only ones happy about this wholesome friendship.
