According to SM Entertainment‘s press release to Newsen, Girls’ Generation is making their long-awaited comeback in August to celebrate their 15 year anniversary. This will be the group’s first album release in five years, since the release of Holiday Night in August 2017. It is even more meaningful for fans as it will be an album with all eight members participating.
The Girls’ Generation members are also preparing to participate in various broadcast appearances and group variety shows to commemorate their 15th anniversary album.
Since the group’s last album release in 2017, three members have departed SM Entertainment and all of the members have promoted individually, but the group remains as tight-knit as ever.
