She didn’t hesitate.

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon has seemingly hinted at being displeased with her upcoming concert in Jakarta, allegedly due to the venue’s limited seating capacity.

On June 21, the “INVU” singer shared the concert’s poster, which says in bold letters at the top “Taeyeon Concert in Jakarta.” She retweeted two Instagram Stories from her official SM Entertainment page. In the first, she added a thinking face emoji.

She explained her feelings further in the second post where she wrote, “Ms. ‘Taeyeon Concert in Jakarta’ doesn’t know what she’s talking about 😏.”

Fans are speculating that the solo artist is throwing shade at the limited seat capacity in the venue. The concert will be held at Hall 5 in the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), and it only holds 5,000 people.

This is significantly lower than the typical attendance at Taeyeon’s concerts, where it’s common for her to sell over 10,000 tickets. Furthermore, the venues in the other confirmed locations worldwide have seating capacities two to three times larger than ICE.

Fans who viewed her Instagram Stories agreed with her sentiment, saying “She has spoken” and “Looks like she’s confused too.

Others noted that the demand for Taeyeon’s concerts is enormous as she sells out her tickets with ease, which is why they find it confusing that a 5,000-person concert hall was even approved. Fans reminded each other to support her because she is standing up for herself and them.
