TWICE's Chaeyoung Spills On Girls' Generation Yoona's True Personality After She Once Met The Veteran Idol At A Restaurant

In the world of K-Pop, many like to think that it is a cutthroat world where people from different groups and companies are only out to beat each other in the charts and popularity ratings.

In reality, it couldn’t be further from the truth, and one person who recently proved that is TWICE‘s Chaeyoung.

One group that always goes above and beyond to shut down any of these accusations is the veteran girl group Girls’ Generation. Since debuting in 2007, the members have been true role models to idols of all ages.

Member Yoona has also always been praised for having one of the kindest personalities in K-Pop. One producer called Kim Ah Yeon explained how much directors praise the idol, adding, “She always has a rookie mindset, tries her hardest and is never afraid to ‘ruin her image.”

Chaeyoung shared a story about Girls’ Generation’s Yoona that proves just how caring the senior idols are.

Chaeyoung recently appeared in a video with rapper Lil Cherry. During the video, the two artists discussed everything from their favorite K-Pop idols to their experience of cutting hair and much more. Netizens were obsessed with the duo’s chemistry and how natural they were.

During the video, while discussing concepts of groups, they spoke about the fact that Girls’ Generation recently had a comeback, and Chaeyoung couldn’t hide her excitement and even revealed who her favorite member is.

Yet, although Yoona is amazing, it seems like personal experiences with the veteran idol that has made her even more amazing in Chaeyoung’s book.

The TWICE member explained that she once saw Yoona while she was out eating and, like any respectful junior, Chaeyoung went to great Yoona.

We go to the same salon and I saw her at the restaurant, so I went to say hi.

Yet, it was what happened after that shocked Chaeyoung at the time.

The idol revealed that when after she had greeted Yoona and went to finish her food, it turned out that the Girls’ Generation member had paid for her food. Chaeyoung recalled what happened, adding, “I told her to enjoy her meal, and she paid for my meal.”

Unsurprisingly, Chaeyoung then thanked Yoona again, adding just how good a meal it was.

As expected, despite 15 years in the industry, the members of Girls’ Generation always prove to be the best seniors. They could easily expect respect and grand gestures from others, but the members always treat their juniors with the same treatment. Chaeyoung’s experience truly showcases Yoona’s true personality.
